The more that your boat stands out, the easier it will be for those looking for it (like you and the police) to spot it. This can also be an effective deterrent against theft.

Use Secure Storage Strategies

If possible, store the vessel in a secure area that is monitored by surveillance cameras or has a guard on duty.

If that's not an option, focus on high traffic areas where suspicious activity (like someone breaking into a boat) is more likely to be spotted and reported.
