Welcome to Thayer's Marine Thayer's Marine was founded in 1966 one a hope and the American Dream. Dick Thayer wanted to provide his family with a better life, and provide his eldest son Rich Jr. with a place to start his family. We started small, a few boats here and some part sales there, doing many other things in an attempt to get by. As the years progressed the business and family grew. Dick's six children had their children, and Rich Jr. had Richie. Richie now works with his father and grandfather, growing the business everyday. As the business grows, we try to maintain the same principals and ideals on which we were founded, family. We extend an invitation to everyone to join our family, and see how much Thayer's Marine has grown and changed. We now have 4 lots worth of new and used inventory. We have boats to suit every need, from fishing to family cruising and everything in between. Our Bombardier 5-Star-rated Elite Service Department is the best in the area, with Rich Thayer leading our team of fully trained, factory certified, service techs. We also have a growing inventory of boating accessories, with the personal care and service of a small store, with the prices of those big box stores.
